Springerle Silver Horse Pendant

You never know where you will find inspiration! While visiting a friend, I noticed a cookie mold displayed in her kitchen. The mold was carved from wood and depicted a one horse sleigh. I particularly liked the horse, and his fashionable blanket. Fortunately, I had some molding putty with me and I was able to model a likeness of the sleigh horse while I was there. Back in the studio, this is the design that resulted. It is part of our Sporting Horses Collection of equestrian jewelry.
