Modernist Greek Silver Pendant

This attractive silver pendant is modeled after a “tassie”: a souvenier commonly collected in Europe by English travellers during the Victorian era. Tassies are plaster molds of the seals made by signet rings from the Roman and Greek periods. They typically picture scenes from mythology or busts of famous people such as emperors.
