Doulton Double Dogs Silver Pendant- Large

The dogs on this silver pendant were inspired by antique, Doulton Lambeth harvest jugs, known for the scene that goes around their circumference. It always includes a horse at full gallop ridden by a man blowing a hunting horn, five dogs on the run, and a stag. These features are “sprig formed” and applied as raised decorations. The jugs range in size from decorative pieces barely 2″ tall to practical serving pieces up to 9″ high. These dogs are typical of what’s seen on the larger ones.
