Cartoon Horse on Robin’s Egg Blue Glass – Art Glass Panel

$85.00

This playful panel is part of our Cartoon Horses Collection of equestrian home decor. It is 7.5″ x 5″. All the cartoon horses are made from an eclectic assortment of colored glass, giving each one a distinct personality.

Like the glass, this mare reveals her special qualities as you get to know her. She is not the flashiest horse in the barn, but her golden disposition, great movement, and strong work ethic make her an all-around favorite. Why don’t you give her a home and a name and go on imaginary adventures together? Or give her to a friend who will do the same? When not adventuring, set her on the included plate stand and simply enjoy her character!

This horse is made of solid opaque colors, but there is something special about them. Look closely and you will see that a black outline surrounds some of the pieces. This results from a reaction between the background glass and the horse. The robin’s egg blue contains copper, which reacts with colors containing sulfur — typically colors in the warm range from yellow to red, and in this case, the white which was specially formulated to react.
