Necklace with Labradorite and Black Beads with Large Silver Pegasus Focal Piece

Description

One-of-a-kind beaded necklace with handmade silver end caps and accent piece. This necklace is woven by hand from tumbled and rondelle shaped labradorite beads which flash blue when the light hits them, along with three different types of black faceted crystals, and black glass tumbled beads. The silver end-caps are textured with incised designs and suspend the focal piece: a large, silver pendant with a raised image of Pegasus, the mythical Greek flying horse. To honor his magnificent wings, the reverse side of the pendant is decorated with the impression of a real feather. The pendant was modeled on an ancient Greek coin. The focal piece and end caps are handcrafted in .960 silver; the wire, hook and jump rings are sterling silver (.925). Overall length: 22″.
