Pointillist Circus Lady on Horse Art Glass Brooch

This is a stylish brooch featuring the silhouette of a lady atop a circus horse. Made with love for the vaulters out there! The image was created by sandwiching a piece of copper foil between two layers of glass, white below and clear on top, and then heating it in a kiln at 1475℉ to fuse the layers together. Dots of paint were applied on top of the brooch and it was heated again to set the paint. The final step was attaching a silver plated pin clasp to the back of the brooch.
