We honor the Spanish Riding School in Vienna with this pendant. It is the only place in the world where classical equitation in the Renaissance style of the Haute Ecole (High School) has been practised for more than 450 years. The tradition continues today. Lipizzaner horses are bred and raised at two farms in Austria to ensure that young, talented white stallions, for which the SRS is famous, will always be ready to fill the shoes of the masters when they retire. The schooling of the horses and the riders is slow, careful and precise, and in the process the knowledge needed to develop horses capable of performing the Airs Above The Ground is passed down in an unbroken chain. In this modern world we are thankful that some things do not change.
