A wistful, young mermaid looks back at you from this magical paperweight, which is part of our Serendipity Collection of silver jewelry. The hand-colored image was found in a 19th century book, before etchings gave way to photographs. The dome was made in the USA in a now defunct factory in the midwest.
Use it to keep a pile of papers in place, or if you like, set it in on a small plate stand and admire it on a bookshelf or dresser-top.
