The inspiration for this piece came from an antique chest of drawers whose handles had the most amazing lions’ heads as backplates. The cats called out to me, asking to be made into jewelry so more people could admire them. I complied and fashioned the first of these expressive pendants when I got back to my studio. Now you can own one, knowing when you wear it that the lion is a symbol of power, courage, and nobility that has been worn for centuries.
